Sven Kramer, Dutch long track speed skater was disqualified after he committed a lane change violation on the 10,000 meter men’s speed skating event last Tuesday. At first, Kramer thought that he had won the Vancouver Olympics Gold medal when he registered at total time of 12:54.50 being the first place. But when the tape has been reviewed he was caught in lane change violation that costs him the Gold Medal.

Upon hearing the bad news from his coach, the 23 year-old Kramer behaved outrageously and eventually flung his glasses and kicked the lane markers.

After the disqualification has been announced, Lee Seung-Hoon of South Korea, got the Gold Medal when he finished second to Kramer with a total time of 12:58.55. The silver medal goes to Ivan Skobrev of Russia, and the bronze medal goes to Bob de Jong, representative from Netherlands.
