Another recall has been made by Toyota corp. on “Sienna Minivan” car models that are sold from 1998 to 2010. The total number of units is close to 600,000 in the United States and 270,000 in Canada.
The recall occurred because of fear of corrosion that may occur after long term exposure to road salt which could in turn lead to the separation of the spare tire from the vehicle.
Among the cars that will be tested are Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado and Rav4 to check if there’s enough safety features the car models have.
Among the states that are affected by the recent recall made by Toyota Corp. are: Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia, Vermont, Wisconsin and West Virginia.
