Manny Pacquiao won the latest elections in the Philippines as a congressman of Sarangani Island. As the provincial board of canvassers proclaim him as the new Congressman last Thursday night(Manila Time). He will not be known as a pound-for-pound fighter but also a politician in his lifetime. He became the first boxer to have a congressional seat in the Philippines.
It will be really exciting to see how Michael Buffer introduce him inside the ring in his next upcoming fights! The line “Fighting Congressman of the Philippines” will surely make boxing fans ecstatic and proud of him. He will also keep his doubters at bay when they question his eligibility of being a congressman.
