June 30, 2010 Declared Holiday in the Philippines

Is June 30, 2010 a holiday? Yes, it is declared as special non-working holiday in the Philippines signed and declared by President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.

The said date is also the scheduled oath-taking and inauguration of Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, the newly elected President of the Philippines and also became the 15th Philippine President. The venue will be at the  Quirino Grandstand in Rizal Park, Manila.
