Manny Pacquiao vs Antonio Margarito Fight Update: No License for Margarito in California

Posted by: admin In: news|sports

Manny Pacquiao Fight Update. California State Athletic Commission denied Antonio Margarito to get his license back last August 18 when the voting came out at 5-1 prompting that Margarito not to get what he wanted. Margarito is supposedly the next fighter to face Manny Pacquiao, the pound-for-pound king, this coming November 13, 2010. And this kind of news will surely shatter the hopes of seeing Manny Pacquiao back in the boxing ring again.

In 2009, Margarito was caught in a controversy against his fight with Shane Mosley when a plaster like substance was found in his glove during the fight. He even denied that he knew all about it and said that he was not aware of it. That incident caused him his boxing license and he has not fought since it was discovered.

California State Athletic Commission is his first chance to get a license and since he was denied there, he can apply for a license in the other states but the chances of getting one looked like very slim now.

Do you think Antonio Margarito can get his license back?
