She was staying at Room 1143 of the Peninsula hotel and was found babbling incoherently with her son lying dead in the room and with prescription pills scattered around them. It was later found out that her son was about 24 hours dead before she was arrested.

Before the incident, Gigi Jordan, 49 years old, become very distressed with her failed marriage and found out the she even emailed her aunt that she would like to kill herself and her own son. That prompt her aunt to be concerned about her status and eventually called the police.

Gigi Jordan’s residence address is  Trump International Towers but was found staying at the Peninsula Hotel when the incident happened.
